Our Journey
Humble Beginnings
Founded in a small Thane workshop with just three artisans, we started creating custom pieces for local cafes and boutiques who appreciated our unique blend of industrial and rustic elements.
First Major Project
Commissioned to design and furnish an entire Mumbai loft apartment, which became a showcase of our capabilities and design philosophy. This project marked our transition from furniture makers to complete space designers.
Workshop Expansion
Moved to our current 5,000 sq ft facility in Yeoor, allowing us to take on larger projects and establish systematic training for new artisans joining our growing team.
National Recognition
Featured in Architectural Digest India's "Top 20 Emerging Design Studios" and began receiving commissions from clients across India, leading to the development of our shipping and installation network.
Present Day
With a team of 25 skilled craftspeople and designers, we continue to push boundaries in loft-style decor while maintaining our commitment to sustainable materials and artisanal techniques.
The Art of Making
Every RusticHiveDecor piece begins with carefully selected materials that already carry history - reclaimed wood from demolished colonial buildings, vintage industrial components, and natural fibers.
Our artisans then apply traditional techniques like mortise-and-tenon joinery alongside modern metal fabrication methods to create furniture that honors the past while fitting seamlessly into contemporary spaces.
